4. You will receive a file, run it and enter the code
5. Follow the instructions received with the files regarding installation in your HTML.
6. Voila! Music on your website!
* Will everyone be able to hear the music?
95% of browsers accept Flash (v4). With Flash there are no browser
conflicts or inconvenient plugin popups prompting the viewer to
download a plugin before the music can be heard.
* Why do I need a professional music production service?
Nothing compares with professionally composed music specifically designed for your project.
* How do you work? What’s your process like?
Your input and feedback are essential to the creative process. At first
a brainstorming session must occur between the client and myself. If
the client already knows what style of music they are looking for, then
the next step is to come up with some potential ideas which would
include possible instrumentation, melodic ideas, tempo, mood, and even
structure. You will be informed with regular updates which will include
dialogue, some rough sketchs of melodies in MIDI format for your review
and final selection before the final mix is produced.
* In what format(s) do you deliver the final recording?
The final recording will be in cd, wave, SWF , or mp3 format.
* Can you accommodate special requests?
Whatever style of music you need we can provide it. Please note that
requests which involve arranging music still in copyright will be
rejected.
* How long does it take to finish a music production? It
will vary according to the project. A simple minute long jingle could
take six hours, while a score for a full length feature film might take
anyware from 1-6 months. The final result and quality of the music will
depend on the time constraints and budget.
* Where do you record?
We have the latest technology and software to produce high quality
music in our studio. Our Digital Audio Workstation uses Steinberg's
Cubase VST and SE MIDI/Audio sequencing software. We use sampled
instruments, which are actual digital recordings of live instruments
that are manipulated through the Musical Instrument Digital Interface.
With a pallete of every orchestral instrument from Garritan, we realize
music that is expressive, realistic, and dynamic.
* What happens if I’m not happy with your production?
Not happy with the result, we will work from your feedback to create a
mutually satisfactory solution. During this process you will have the
option to have the work revised up to three times.
* Who owns the copyright to the music? Who owns the copyright to the instrumental and the music recording?
Our music is royalty-free, but this does not mean copyright free.
We retain copyright on all music and recordings. We offer royalty-free
music which is restricted to use on the web, unless otherwise agreed.
This means it could be used on a website, flash presentation, or any
other type of internet based media. This license is restricted to a single domain at one time.
* Do you require credit?
Yes, we require credit in the form of a link for websites and to be listed in the credits for any other project.
* What extra charges do you have?
The cost of postage for cd of the final mix, if required.
* How can I pay?
Payment can be received through PayPal which accepts all major credit
cards and switch or if you are based in the UK I accept checks. Please
